In a recent move aimed at revolutionizing the UAE’s educational landscape, the Ministry of Education (MoE) has struck a strategic partnership with ASI, formerly known as Digest AI, to pioneer the development of an innovative AI-powered tutor (AI Tutor). Recognized for their groundbreaking achievements in the realm of AI-based educational solutions, the UAE-based ASI has been chosen as the ideal collaborator for this ambitious undertaking.
This landmark collaboration represents the MoE’s unwavering commitment to fortifying the nation’s educational system and preparing students to confront the challenges of the future. Stemming from the ministry’s pledge at the World Government Summit 2023 (WGS 2023) to integrate AI into the educational framework, this partnership is set to propel the educational sector to new heights. Under this alliance, the MoE will extend crucial support and facilitate access to pertinent educational content, curriculum guidelines, and essential data necessary for the seamless integration of the AI Tutor with the UAE’s national curriculum.
With ASI spearheading the project, the company will undertake the task of developing and tailoring the advanced AI Tutor platform in accordance with the UAE’s national curriculum. Furthermore, the deployment of the AI Tutor will be carried out in close collaboration with the MoE, ensuring a comprehensive and effective implementation.
Speaking on the significance of this initiative, Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, the Minister of Education, emphasized the pivotal role of education in shaping a prosperous future for societies. He underscored the ministry’s unwavering dedication to enhancing the educational sector through the utilization of cutting-edge technologies, including generative AI.
