The CEO of Bitcoin Magazine accused Kamala of ‘screwing’ with the crypto industry for almost four years with the help of Warren and the U.S. SEC’s chairman Gensler. According to Bailey, Kamala only pretended to be ‘hip with Bitcoin.’ However, independent crypto analyst Dom expressed doubt about Bailey’s sincerity, asking him why the Bitcoin2024 conference organizers had considered having Kamala as a speaker at the event.

Kamala Harris fails to attend crypto event amid accusations of being anti-crypto

According to crypto YouTuber Ajay Kashyap, Kamala Harris had opted out of the July 25-27 Bitcoin 2024 conference in Nashville. However, Scaramucci, who had confirmed attending the crypto event, said in a Bloomberg TV interview that VP Kamala needed time to ‘gel her ideas’ and that she would ‘get the broader regulatory picture right’ for the crypto industry.

Scaramucci also pointed out that having high-profile Democrats like Ro Khanna give a keynote at the Nashville Bitcoin event was a smart move for the Democratic party. He observed that Khanna’s decision to lead the charge with crypto leaders reflected the Democrats’ future stance and would make the future of crypto a nonpartisan issue.

“Appears there is increasing potential re a non-partisan political ‘awakening’ in the run-up to November.  Crypto is increasingly relevant to both domestic & international policy.”

S_Tzu mentioned that the U.S. would benefit from partnerships with crypto communities similar to what the Stellar blockchain has with Ukraine. Notably, the CEO and Executive Director at Stellar, Denelle Dixon, asserted that the Stellar Development Foundation (SDF) was working hard behind the scenes to push crypto forward in DC. Since it was not a political issue, Dixon confirmed that SDF engaged both sides in pushing the crypto agenda.

According to crypto developer Ed Krassenstein, the Kamala Harris team had reached out to pro-crypto entrepreneur Mark Cuban with questions about crypto, and Cuban responded that it was ‘a good sign’.

Harris gets massive support from top Democrats despite ‘bad press’ from crypto industry

Immediately after stepping out of the November presidential race, President Joe Biden offered his full support and endorsement for Kamala as the Democratic nominee. He disclosed that he would instead concentrate his energies on his presidential duties for the remainder of his term. Biden also praised Vice President Kamala, stating that choosing her as his running mate had been his best decision.

Former First Lady and 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton also expressed her support for Kamala, calling the current VP a brilliant prosecutor. Hilary said she had known Kamala for a long time and was confident in her ability to protect Americans’ freedoms.

The Governor of Michigan, Gretchen Whitmer, also issued a press release on July 22 in full support of Kamala’s bid for the presidency. While warning Americans not to allow Trump near the White House, Whitmer affirmed that a vote for Kamala guaranteed a low cost of living, restored freedoms, jobs, and a thriving economy.

“I am fired up to endorse Kamala Harris for President of the United States…Vice President Harris has my full support.”

Gretchen Whitmer

Former Governor of California and Co-host of Politickin’ Pod Gavin Newsom called Kamala Harris ‘tough, fearless, and tenacious.’ He claimed no one was better to prosecute the case against Trump’s dark vision than VP Kamala Harris, who he believed would lead America in a healthier direction.
