The leak was executed on Reddit by ukrisreng on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit, exposing the user interface, modifications, and improvements to the updated version 5. The leaker also disclosed an image that has since been widely shared on Reddit by various users. The image revealed the characters who will be present on the Spiral Abyss domain for the incoming updated version 5.0.
The spiral abyss will have 12 floors, each divided into three chambers. Each chamber has a unique adversary that gamers must defeat to advance to the next level. Once the players defeat an enemy, they are bound to face a more advanced enemy in the following chambers until they face the hardest enemy.
New Spiral Abyss to host strongest ever enemies
The leak suggests that the 12th floor will be the hardest of the floors, and players will fight Genshin Impact’s world boss enemies. Gluttonous Yumkasaur Mountain Lord, with 4,159,501 HP at level 100, will occupy the first half of floors 12-3. The second half of the floor will have a Perpetual Resonance SI/AId with 2,218,401 HP at level 100. The leak also depicts players defeating Perpetual Mechanical Array to finish the milestone. The game’s new version will allow up to 12 avatars to be displayed as player profiles.
Nothing much will change in the general profile format. However, participants with older accounts whose limited 5-star count is in the double digits will have more than four character slots. The new profile will also list the Constellations of Genshin Impact characters that have been chosen by the player.
Fontane, one of the seven kingdoms of Teyvat, brought to life a series of vital upgrades for the game. Natlan, the game’s kingdom, worshiping the Pyron Archon also continued the trend, introducing newer modifications for gamers. Genshin Impact version 5.0 is set to be even better compared to the previous series (version 4.0).
Most changes to the Teyvat chapter in 2024 have been centered around player convenience and long-haul game preparation. Khaenri’ah and Snezhnaya are yet to be explored and are set to proceed after the fiery mesas of Natlan. However, the Teyvat chapter appears to be coming to an end.
