The Free Fire World Series (FFWS) Global Finals 2024 is set to bring together 18 of the best teams in the world, all competing for a $1 million prize pool. Set to start on November 8th in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, this much-anticipated tournament will run over several weeks and reach its grand final climax on 24th November where the top teams in the competition shall face off in a bid to win the championship.
The format of the FFWS Global Finals will consist of several stages, starting from the knockout stage, followed by the Point Rush Stage, and ending with the Grand Finals. This event is expected to offer extreme head-to-head competition as teams from around the world clash to determine the best Free Fire Squad.
Free Fire teams battle in knockout stage to secure final spots
The knockout stage of the tournament will take place from November 8th to November 17th. Of the 18 participating teams, 6 will be eliminated in this phase thereby reducing the number of competing teams to 12. This phase marks the most important and determining stage for all the teams involved in the tournament, revealing the logic of who will stay in contention for the trophy and who will not.
After the knockout phase, the remaining teams will proceed to the Point Rush Stage on the 22nd and 23rd of November. In this stage, some more strategies are introduced in the form of teams earning some bonus points which could give them an upper hand in the final round. The overall points standing will be inclusive of these bonus points for the respective performance and will give an edge to the best-performing teams in the impending Grand Finals.
Teams from around the world compete for a spot in the finals
The lineup for the FFWS Global Finals 2024 is very much global in nature. The 18 contesting teams represent the best talents in Free Fire from all corners of the world. Eight teams from FFWS South East Asia 2024 Fall have qualified for the tournament, three teams are from FFWS Latin America and four teams are from FFWS Brazil. In addition, the winning team from the FFWS Pakistan will also join the tournament, demonstrating the wide scope and audience of this competition.
Throughout the event, these teams will battle for the biggest portion of the prize pool, with the ultimate champion being crowned in Rio de Janeiro. The Grand Finals scheduled for November 24th will have the greatest final showdown where the top 12 teams will compete with the world champion title at stake.
