The Republican presidential candidate reiterated pledges to pardon Ross Ulbricht and for all Bitcoin to be “made in the USA.”
With less than a week until Election Day in the United States and many people voting early, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump took to his social media platform to remind voters of his campaign promises on crypto.
In Oct. 31 Truth Social and X posts, Trump called on his roughly eight million followers to vote for him in the 2024 election, claiming he would have all Bitcoin (BTC) “made in the USA” if elected.
The message included a “Happy 16th Anniversary” for the BTC white paper and claims to end US Vice President Kamala Harris’ “war on crypto” — despite the Democratic candidate pledging to support the industry if elected.
