The management of the Cosmopolitan University in Abuja declared that the University will start using a supercomputer cluster to support agricultural technology, which will, in turn, build high-standard AI abilities.

Professor Carl Adams, the institution’s VC, also highlighted at the matriculation ceremony held in Abuja the opportunities that will enable the creation of data-intensive applications that require high processing and storage capacities.
Only 54 students were selected to take part in the matriculation ceremony. The vice chancellor highlights that utilizing supercomputers translates to wasteful energy consumption and must be conducted in zero-impact and carbon-neutral facilities.
This will be realized through the use of solar panels, heat exchange systems, and thermoelectric generation. He follows up by saying that computers will be available to other universities in Nigeria and the government and business sectors that value performance computing.
Shaping future leaders
During his speech to both the fresh students and their parents, Professor Adams expects them to actively utilize the facilities and experts of the institute with an assurance that such is the brain behind the idea of establishing the University of International standards and the best of all.
The VC mentioned that eight qualified Cosmopolitan University staff members’ books have already been solicited for stock in three UK libraries, choosing the last one as the “place that is renowned for the writing of the book other institutions teach.”
The current chairman of the university’s board of trustees, Nu’uman Danbatta, pronounced Cosmopolitan University the torch of knowledge on the one hand and the place where minds coexist to explore, ask difficult questions, and develop solutions.
Danbatta highlighted that the college’s commitment to the elite was showing no signs of slowing down. The college was fully determined to offer students a top-standard education and qualify them with the work-life skills and expertise needed by the modern technologically growing world.
