Ankr, the all-in-one web3 developer hub, has announced a groundbreaking collaboration with Optimism to introduce Rollup as a Service (RaaS). This innovative solution empowers businesses and developers to swiftly create and deploy dedicated Optimistic Ethereum (OP) Chains, inheriting the technical and governance advantages of the Superchain ecosystem.
Ankr will provide the necessary engineering and infrastructure support for this new offering, offering a convenient and accessible approach to launching OP Chains. The official announcement was made during OP Labs’ Onchain Summit at Devconnect in Istanbul on November 14.

Ankr’s Rollup as a Service enables users to establish independent Layer 2 (L2) solutions based on the OP Stack. These L2 chains are exclusively tailored to serve traffic from their respective applications or projects. This collaboration has caught the attention of the Optimism Foundation, which has invited Ankr to become an official implementation partner to deliver OP Chains to potential customers.
