Bitget, the top crypto derivatives and copy trading platform, has recently announced its commitment to invest $10 million in its corporate social responsibility (CSR) project, Blockchain4Youth.
This initiative focuses on empowering the younger generation to engage with Web3 and crypto tools, encouraging them to create and participate in a decentralized environment.
Bitget empowering the next generation
The Blockchain4Youth project aligns with Bitget’s core mission of inspiring more people to embrace cryptocurrency. The platform believes that a blockchain-based future is crucial for developing better products and tools that can drive crypto adoption.
The company says it recognizes the importance of engaging the younger generation to promote these ideas and help them become proactive leaders.
According to a recent study released by Bitget, Millennials and Gen Z are the primary forces behind the development of a crypto-friendly future, with the former making up 46% of crypto enthusiasts.
Bitget aspires to be a brand that encourages Web3 adoption and sees the Blockchain4Youth project as a significant contributor to building a blockchain future worldwide.
To support and incentivize young people’s involvement in blockchain technology, the company plans to invest $10 million in the initiative over the next five years.
The project’s initial phase includes offering blockchain courses and certifications through Bitget Academy and partnering with renowned universities worldwide to host campus lectures.
Financial support and collaboration opportunities
In the coming months, Bitget plans to introduce scholarships to provide financial assistance to young blockchain enthusiasts. Blockchain4Youth is also designed to be a strong promoter of influential role models.
The platform will collaborate with other leading blockchain companies to incubate innovative projects by young entrepreneurs and host U30 (Under the age of 30) hackathons to identify the most promising initiatives.
Gracy Chen, the Managing Director of Bitget, commented on the new project, stating:
We aim to uplift the youth of today with valuable knowledge regarding Blockchain and Web3 information, ensuring a future where the world is blockchain-connected. Bitget’s study shows that the constantly changing demographics will have a significant impact on the adoption of cryptocurrency, and teenagers struggle to systematically understand this ever-evolving world. In light of this, the company says it aims to leverage its global reach and initiate meaningful projects to empower the younger generation.
The CSR project is set to begin in May with a series of campus lectures held in top universities across Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, and other regions currently being planned. The Bitget Academy Course will also launch in the same month.
Bitget exchange is open to potential partners interested in joining the project to build a blockchain future and is currently seeking blockchain advocates worldwide to help educate youth and promote the adoption of decentralized technologies.
