Bitget, the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchange and Web3 company, has launched a series of campus roadshows under the Blockchain4Youth $10M initiative. The educational drive spans from colleges to specialization institutions where Bitget will spread awareness around the transformative technology of crypto and blockchain.

The event kickstarted its first roadshow with the University of Perpetual Help System in Laguna on 14th February 2024. It witnessed participation from over 200 students enrolled in Computer Science and Information Technology programs. The roadshow is designed to encourage youth to begin their web3 careers and broaden their technological expertise through the Blockchain4Youth initiative.

Bitget is focused on bringing emerging technologies and their real-life use-cases to students enriching their academic experiences. From blockchain development to applications and entrepreneurship, the students are provided with detailed workshops and collaborative opportunities. To support and strengthen this educational drive, Blockchain4Youth will enable students with blockchain applications, crypto overview, and a playground to land internships in WEB3 companies in the Philippines.

Opening up avenues for students’ careers in the revolutionary fintech space, Bitget plans to spread awareness and mass adoption of blockchain throughout the region with a core focus on supporting students pursuing technology-related academics.

“Bitget plans to enable students with better access to blockchain education and a playground to pursue it. There’s a growing demand for highly equipped blockchain and crypto professionals, and we’re constantly cultivating talents for the future development of the whole ecosystem. We’re constantly looking out to educate and fund emerging ideas from the youth.” said Gracy Chen, Managing Director at Bitget.
