Circle’s Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) has been officially deployed on Solana’s mainnet, marking a key advancement in cross-chain interoperability within the cryptocurrency ecosystem.

According to the announcement on Tuesday, this development enables both developers and users to seamlessly transfer USDC (USD Coin) between eight different blockchains, ensuring 1:1 capital efficiency across transactions. CCTP supports transfers over 56 different routes connecting several major blockchains, including Arbitrum, Avax, Base, Ethereum, Noble, Optimism, and Polygon PoS.
