Cronos and Revolut Partner to Float New Crypto-Based Educational Course
Cronos and Revolut are joining hands to float a new educational initiative that they hope would help bolster crypto adoption. That is, according to a recent press release detailing the full scope of the partnership.
The initiative dubbed the Cronos Learn course will be available on the Revolut app from July 31 at 8 am EST. Per the announcement, this course will help users understand the concept of crypto. That includes the Cronos ecosystem, DeFi, and Web3 Gaming, through interactive lessons and quizzes.
Course Overview
The partners claim to have put together the Cronos Learn course in a way that breaks down the rather complex world of blockchain technology into simple layman terms. It is divided into three well-structured chapters.
The first chapter is named “What is Cronos?”. In this module, users will be introduced thoroughly to Cronos technology. They will learn about the Cronos ecosystem and also learn practical steps to get started with the blockchain platform.
In the next chapter called “What is DeFi?” Users will explore decentralized finance, including its benefits and how it can revolutionize traditional financial systems.
Lastly, the “What is Web3 Gaming?” chapter will provide an overview of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and the unique features and characteristics of blockchain-based games.
According to Cronos, each chapter in this course is designed to be both educational and engaging. They also come with quizzes designed to drive home points, make learning fun, and assess users’ assimilation of the material. Interestingly, the integration has been made seamless for Revolut users. This means that getting started with the Cronos Learn course is as straightforward as can be.
Users just have to download or update the Revolut app, navigate to crypto, tap on Discover, and choose the course to learn (in this case, Cronos Learn). Furthermore, they can choose to complete quizzes to test and consolidate their knowledge.
Cronos and Revolut to Drive Mainstream Crypto Adoption with New Initiative
Immediately after launch, the course will be accessible to Revolut’s 35+ million users spread across over 50 countries around the world. Notably, this portends a significant step towards mainstream adoption of Web3 and secure crypto management.
It is worth noting that the partnership between Cronos and Revolut is a major development in the area of cryptocurrency education. However, it is not the first time a similar initiative is being launched. In May, Coinspeaker reported about a pioneering Bitcoin course that Swiss University introduced. A month earlier, Binance also partnered with several higher institutions across Europe for accredited crypto courses.
In all of this, it is clear that there is a growing need for financial literacy in this digital age. That is exactly what firms like Cronos and Revolut are aiming to lead the process as they bid to make cryptocurrency and blockchain technology accessible to a global audience.
