As the world experiences a boom in AI software, Crypto.com’s CEO Kris Marszalek recently announced the launch of an AI-powered user companion called Amy during an ask-me-anything (AMA) discussion. Amy, Crypto.com’s new chatbot, aims to help users expand their understanding of the crypto industry by offering information on various crypto assets, projects, and real-time updates on industry developments.
Amy: A comprehensive crypto resource
Built on OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Amy has been tailored specifically for cryptocurrency and blockchain information. The AI chatbot provides users with insights into historical events that have shaped the industry and the latest information on blockchain technology and price listings.
Currently in its beta phase, Amy is available to select users with a crypto.com/price account. Crypto.com plans to gradually scale access to Amy for more users over the coming weeks and integrate it into the Crypto.com App and other experiences.
AI adoption in the crypto industry
Crypto.com is not the only digital currency firm to venture into AI products. Binance recently launched Bicasso, an AI-infused non-fungible token (NFT) art platform, which saw a limited run of 10,000 mints before closing access to general users.
Crypto.com’s announcement specified that Amy “does not provide financial or investment advice” and emphasized that learnings from the pilot will be applied to the chatbot’s continued rollout and future AI-powered projects from Crypto.com.
Marszalek expressed the company’s commitment to ecosystem building and responsible innovation, stating that Amy is the latest example of Crypto.com’s impressive momentum.
