Game development studio Eden Games, famous for hits like Gear.Club and V-Rally, has just dropped their latest creation Cosmic Royale, a Web3 party royale racing game, brought by Animoca Brands’ Mocaverse.
The new game is a big part of Motorverse, a global web3 ecosystem that’s all about digital vehicle ownership, racing games, and motorsport culture.
Plus, Cosmic Royale is the first game experience for the Cosmic Club, Mocaverse’s social gamification platform. Cosmic Royale is the first game of Eden’s to be fully integrated with blockchain from the ground up.
In its press announcement, Eden Games told us that it has sold more than 15 million game boxes, racked up over 75 million app downloads, and published 17 games.
They’ve had major hits like Test Drive Unlimited 1 and 2, Gear.Club, and F1 Mobile Racing. The team added that these games have won awards, sold millions, and been downloaded by millions more on Google Play and the Apple Store.

Cosmic Royale brings 40-player matches packed with racing and obstacle courses, ending in a survival showdown. The main event is the Cosmic Tournament, a fast-paced, multiplayer race where only one can come out on top.
Players race through multiple rounds, trying to qualify for the next race until there’s just one winner left. David Nadal, creative director at Eden Games, said:
“Players can customize their experience by importing their custom drivers and karts thanks to our partnerships with various PFP collections, making every racer’s story unique.”
According to Kenneth Shek, project lead for Mocaverse, Animoca Brands is using Eden Games to anchor Cosmic Club with Cosmic Royale.
With the Cosmic Club, the company wants to create a connected platform to boost user engagement and growth. The platform uses Player versus Player (PvP) elements to foster social interaction among players.
Moca NFT holders and over 1.77 million owners of Moca ID, Mocaverse’s decentralized identifier, get exclusive access to the Cosmic Royale beta. These IDs provide access to Animoca Brands’ entire network and portfolio.
In Cosmic Royale, Moca NFT holders can use their unique NFTs as their kart drivers, unlocking special karts and parts. Moca ID holders can earn Realm Points (RP) by playing the game.

Gathering enough RPs can qualify Moca ID holders for the Round 2 airdrop of MOCA Coin, if they meet the other criteria. Players can also spend RPs on the Cosmic Club website to compete in a special daily leaderboard for more RP rewards.
