In Game 1, Gen.G Esports takes the upper hand in the early game thanks to their good control. T1’s unpredictable moves and smart bids buy them time and essential points, keeping them in the contest. The best Gen.G can do to counter when Oner picks Xin Zhao is to revert to the certainty that Kha’Zix can be easily dealt with on the other’s Kai’Sa. This becomes an important factor for their victory because of Aurelionsol; which is Chovy’s strong character. However, as the early stage of the game is such a slow, the upset Kha`Zix from Samdong is wielded against the composition of T1 which is too squishy. In the Game 5, Canyon’s Kha’Zix gains the respect ban from T1 as Oner’s Xin Zhao is called back.
After the throw, Gen.G gets slight advantage over T1, but gives up early kills. This will lead to the mid-game where Gen.G will take the Infernal Soul and Corki is pretty annoying to Volibear tank with his poke tendencies. From this point on, Gen.G is all in about winning at League of Legends, and Peyz finishes off his opponents with a quadra-kill, which seals the deal.
