io.net Partners with Synesis One to Boost AI Development

Decentralized network io.net signed a strategic partnership with Synesis One, the first Train2Earn platform on Solana. According to its official website, Synesis One is a data crowdsourcing platform where anyone can earn $SNS by completing micro-tasks that train Artificial Intelligence (AI).

AI Development at the Core of Synesis One And io.net’s Collaboration

io.net, which announced the launch of its decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) for AI last year, simplifies access to affordable Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) through its tools.

io.net Cloud offers the infrastructure and architecture that are required to deploy decentralized GPU clusters across various locations. This collaboration will see that io.net’s advanced decentralized computing network is used to power the training of ML models for Synesis One’s enterprise clients.

Ultimately, the goal is to facilitate more efficient and accessible AI model development. The alliance is a milestone for the AI ecosystem as it leverages io.net’s extensive GPU clusters to accelerate decentralized model training. In addition, this marks the beginning of directing focused efforts into integrating and leveraging their respective technologies for the benefit of the broader AI space.

The new alliance comes barely two months after io.net inked a deal with Ritual, a Decentralized Finance (DeFi) protocol focused on AI. In this case, the partnership required that both platforms leverage their resources, expertise, and capabilities to drive innovation and enhance accessibility in the global AI computing space.

As part of the deal, io.net tapped into Ritual’s Infernet SDK, Infernet node client, and Ritual Chain components.

Pushing Out Centralized Systems with Decentralization

For the Synesis One and io.net collaboration, both entities are keen on decentralization, hence their commitment to reducing dependence on centralized systems. In the long run, this pivot aims to improve data privacy and security in AI. Here is what the CEO of Synesis One Isaac Bang had to say about the collaboration with io.net.

“We’re onboarding a number of large clients, and the scope of some projects require us to build out custom ML models. It’s extremely exciting to be one of the first to harness the power of distributed computing with io.net for enterprise AI solutions,” he said.

As a team, Synesis One and io.net will push into the exploration of integrated solutions, particularly those that are tailored to the needs of enterprise clients. Such solutions prioritize scalability, security, and operational efficiency, which is at the core of the duo’s alliance.

This strategic alliance is a reflection of the shared commitment to enhance the AI development landscape by leveraging innovative and decentralized technology solutions. These solutions not only compete with current centralized solutions available but equally provide even more value to companies embracing it.

Generally, the AI industry is gradually gaining enormous traction with many top tech companies showing interest in the innovative technology.
