Wikileaks founder Julian Assange is expected to be freed from prison after agreeing to a plea deal with U.S. authorities, which will see him sentence to time already served in British prison.

Assange will plead guilty to U.S. charges on one count of conspiracy to obtain and disclose national defence information, Sky News U.K. reported on June 24.

In return, he will be sentenced to 62 months time served, the amount of time he’s spent imprisoned in London’s Belmarsh Prison.
