KEY Difference DMCC has officially obtained a ‘business incubator’ license from Dubai Multi Commodities Centre, the world’s largest free trade zone, certifying the company’s years of expertise in the blockchain sector.
KEY Difference Receives DMCC’s Nod to Launch Its Web3 Accelerator
Per the announcement on Monday, the new license formally clears the path for KEY Difference Labs, the company’s new accelerator. The platform is geared towards incubating and advising potential unicorns, with a keen focus on merging the Web2 platforms with the dynamic world of Web3 and blockchain.
“The focus of the accelerator is to assist Web2 powerhouses in seamlessly transitioning to Web3 using the blockchain infrastructure,” said Karnika E. Yashwant, CEO of KEY Difference.
Being licensed by DMCC is a significant milestone for KEY Difference that underscores the company’s high level of proficiency and expertise in the Web3 space.
KEY Difference Media, the precursor to KEY Difference DMCC, has recorded impressive growth since its inception in 2013. Under Yashwant’s leadership, the company has marketing for several Fortune 100 companies, including CISCO, AJC, Ledger, eToro, and many others. The firm also assisted projects in the monumental fundraising of over $550 million during the 2017 ICO phase.
Raising The Next Web3 Unicorns
With the license, KEY Difference Labs is setting out to raise the potential future unicorns and help projects navigate pitfalls and challenges in the blockchain space and ultimately achieve steady growth.
“It’s disheartening to observe the crypto space riddled with scams and short-sighted strategies. My passion is about championing businesses that exemplify long-term, steady growth. This is achievable by harnessing the value ingrained in the Web2 sphere and appealing to its vast user base through simple, effective business use cases,” Yashwant said.
