The world’s largest professional network LinkedIn now offers AI-powered features to help businesses grow and connect. The new AI-powered tools include Recruiter 2024, Coaching Experience, and Accelerate for Campaign Manager. All of them are powered by OpenAI – an AI research and deployment company that implements machine learning.

Let us have a closer look at the tools revealed by LinkedIn:

  • Recruiter 2024: this AI tool aims to help hirers find qualified candidates faster. In particular, talent leaders can use natural language and formulate their hiring goals in simple words like “I want to hire a senior growth marketing leader.” Generative AI will do its job, and combined with LinkedIn insights, it will create the type of candidate the hirer is looking for and provide higher-quality candidate recommendations from a list of candidates, moving beyond the brand-name companies that have always been the top in search results. To facilitate the process of searching, CRM Connect will be integrated. This Candidate Relationship Management system will give recruiters a more efficient way to work.
  • LinkedIn Learning AI-powered Coaching Experience: this is a chatbot experience that offers both real-time advice and customized content recommendations based on a job title, a career goal, and the skills a user follows. It provides a relevant answer to a user’s inquiry and asks clarifying questions for more detailed advice.
  • Accelerate for Campaign Manager: B2B marketing campaign creation experience that helps analyze the website a user shared, a company’s LinkedIn Page, and an account’s prior LinkedIn ads to recommend a campaign.

The mentioned tools are now available in the pilot version. All of them are expected to make the hiring process easier and more convenient. Instead of doing things manually, users can now get help from generative AI that will save time and require far less effort.

Jennifer Shapley, LinkedIn’s VP of global talent, stated:

“Businesses need new skills at a rate faster than I’ve ever seen before – which means they need to help their employees evolve via upskilling and internal mobility. In years past, companies might have relied more on talent acquisition to “buy” the new skills they needed, but that strategy no longer works in isolation for today’s labour market and business environment.”

Recently, LinkedIn introduced AI-assisted search and AccountIQ features to improve its Sales Navigator service. The latter is a tool that enables virtual selling by allowing sales professionals to build and maintain relationships with their buyers. According to LinkedIn, 69% of sales professionals globally have already started using AI. With AI integration, it will be easier for professionals to find crucial accounts and prospect details.

AI-assisted search eliminates the need to manually gather information across different sources, while AccountIQ allows to understand key highlights about an account in a single view.
