Massive Bitcoin Whales Abruptly Move Over $627,000,000 in BTC – Here’s Where the Crypto Is Going

Top US crypto exchange Coinbase transferred more than $627 million worth of Bitcoin (BTC) to two unknown wallets on Monday morning.

Blockchain tracker Whale Alert reports that the two transfers, one worth $316.3 million, and the other worth nearly $311.2 million, happened simultaneously, suggesting a single whale could be behind them, though the on-chain data is not definitive given two separate addresses were involved.

Both addresses appear to have been activated on Monday, and both also unloaded their entire Bitcoin holdings nearly 10 minutes later, at the exact same time, to a flurry of 100 different wallets, according to Blockstream.
