The partnership aims to expand artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) solutions to users across both companies.
NetMind.ai, an infrastructure, technology and ecosystem for developing AI solutions, is entering a strategic collaboration with io.net, a decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) platform for GPU compute services. The collaboration aims to enhance AI/ML capabilities across both companies, providing their users with more affordable and more efficient AI solutions.
The collaboration will see both companies leverage their strengths and capabilities in decentralized AI services, improving their ability to deliver powerful, cost-effective AI solutions that benefit end users on both sides. The new partnership between io.net and NetMind.AI sees the combination of both companies' strengths to rapidly enhance computational capabilities through shared resources and strategic integration.
io.net provides a DePIN that deploys and manages on-demand, decentralised GPU clusters from geo-distributed sources. The platform is designed for low latency and high processing use cases such as cloud gaming, machine learning and artificial intelligence, democratising access to GPU compute capacity while reducing costs, expediting lead times, and expanding choice for engineers and businesses alike.
Following the partnership, io.net will provide NetMind.ai with additional GPU power to NetMind during peak demand times, ensuring NetMind's users have access to increased computational resources.
"Working with NetMind strengthens our ability to support a wide range of ML tasks,” stated Tory Green, CEO of io.net. “We're excited to advance AI technologies together and create new opportunities for developers and businesses."
NetMind.ai, on its part, aims to make AI accessible and affordable to everyone globally. Via the company's brainchild, NetMind Power, a decentralised AI ecosystem that mobilises idle computing power, the company democratises access to otherwise prohibitively expensive AI systems. The partnership with io.net will see NetMind contribute decentralized computing services to io.net’s network, enhancing its distributed infrastructure.
Speaking on the partnership, Kai Zou, CEO of NetMind.ai, stated:
"This collaboration with io.net allows us to offer even more computational power to our users. By combining our resources, we aim to reduce costs while providing high-performance computing power, aligning with our commitment to democratise AI development."
