Nvidia and the National Science Foundation partnered to launch the National Artificial Intelligence Research Resource (NAIRR) pilot to advance responsible AI discovery and innovation.
Nvidia, one of the world’s leading artificial intelligence (AI) chip manufacturers, and the United States National Science Foundation (NSF) announced a new partnership that will support a new AI research initiative.
The National Artificial Intelligence Research Resource (NAIRR) pilot has goals of widening access to the tools needed for “responsible AI discovery and innovation.” Nvidia has committed $30 million in contributions of its technology over the next two years.
The developer plans to collect insights from researchers using its platforms to enhance effectiveness of the technology, while contributing the NVIDIA DGX Cloud AI supercomputing resources and NVIDIA AI Enterprise software.
