The total volume of crypto transactions in Indonesia in September reached 33.7 trillion Indonesian rupiah, worth $2.1 billion.
A majority of crypto users in Indonesia are age 30 and below, according to September data released by the country’s commodities regulator.
Data from the Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency (Bappebti) and local crypto platforms in Indonesia showed that over 60% of crypto investors in the country are 18 to 30 years old. The report said 26.9% are 18 to 24, while 35.1% are 25 to 30.
Bappebti also reported that the total volume of September crypto asset transactions reached 33.7 trillion Indonesian rupiah, about $2.1 billion, and the number of crypto users in Indonesia was 21.3 million.
