PixelVerse Partners with Jambo to Take Web3 Games to Emerging Markets
PixelVerse, the Telegram-based gaming platform with over 100 million visitors has announced a strategic collaboration with Jambo, a leader in Web3 mobile infrastructure for emerging markets. Together, they have introduced an innovative cross-platform initiative that harnesses both of their services.
Serving the Unserved Regions
As a result of this latest partnership, users can gain access to PixelVerse immersive games, including its successful game, PixelTap. This is directly through the JamboApp on its associated JamboPhones distributed in 126 countries. Direct access to PixelVerse through the JamboPlay section will ensure that users experience effortless entry into the Web3 gaming ecosystem.
In addition, PixelVerse stands to offer players in under-served regions of the world unprecedented access to blockchain technologies and interactive entertainment. Distributed mostly in emerging countries in Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia, this alliance between PixelVerse and Jambo is designed to harness the wide visibility of both projects.
Ultimately, the aim is to make Web3 gaming more accessible through Jambo’s phones. This is a similar move to what Jambo tried to achieve with Aptos in February.
Ordinarily, these regions faces key challenges of high unbanked rates and scarce digital access. However, the duo is out to address these challenges by offering users a seamless gaming experience. Kori Leon Co-founder of Pixelverse believes that this strategic partnership will make a significant trajectory for the company.
“Everyone needs their smartphone and loves to play games. We believe this partnership will be the catalyst for wider mass adoption,” Leon explained.
By delivering enhanced connectivity, improved security, and simplified access to comprehensive digital gaming and financial services, this initiative would lead to the empowerment of millions of users.
An example is PixelTap which does not only offer entertainment to players but also opportunities for them to earn within the game ecosystem.
PixelVerse Push the Borders of Web3 Gaming
Some of the perks of the partnership are seamless integration, extensive reach stemming from JamboPhones operations in over 126 countries and enhanced engagement. Jambo acknowledged the significance of this alliance with PixelVerse.
James Zhang, Cofounder at Jambo noted that it is pivotal in the protocol’s mission to bring comprehensive digital services to emerging markets. The aim is to foster both economic and digital literacy on a global scale.
“Our initiative with PixelVerse transcends traditional gaming by integrating it with practical blockchain applications, making advanced technology accessible at the fingertips of millions,” Zhang stated.
The news of this partnership with Jambo comes only two weeks after PixelVerse secured an additional $2 million in its $5 million in the funding round. The fundraiser saw participation from Galaxy Interactive, Crit Ventures, Arc Community, and prominent investors like Angel da Alex Kruger, Coco Bear, Luke Belmar, and The Block founder Mike Dudas.
PixelVerse had initially announced funding of $5 million, but the $2 million funding rounded its total amount raised from funding to $7.5 million.
