Shiba Inu Reveals Release Schedule for First Shibarium-Based Web3 Game
The Shiba Inu ecosystem makes further advancements by introducing the first beta version of Shiba Eternity, a Shibarium-based Web3 game. Shibarium is the Layer-2 scalability platform of the SHIB ecosystem that has processed more than 417 million transactions and handles over 1.8 million wallets.
In a comprehensive announcement on the X platform, Shiba Inu marketing lead Lucie released further features of the game along with the scheduled launch. Lucie said that the Shiba Eternity Web3 game has seen a major overhaul from its previous iteration.
She revealed:
“Attention Leash Stakers! Closed beta for Shiba Eternity is live. This isn’t just the old game with a few updates – it’s a complete shift to Web3 with significant upgrades.”
As said, the Web3 game is currently running on the Shibarium mainnet thereby providing a decentralized gaming experience that represents players’ inventory cards as NFTs while ensuring verifiable ownership and tradeability within the ecosystem.
With its core architecture now built on the Shibarium blockchain, the game offers a seamless and secure experience. Web3 game Shiba Eternity also leverages blockchain technology for in-game transactions and asset management.
Furthermore, the game features a competitive-ranked model allowing players to participate in the 15-day tournaments. These rankings will be based on players’ performance with reward distribution as per the final standings. The top 25 players from the ranked mode gain access to exclusive tournaments featuring seasonal events and unique rewards.
Thus, the game has made significant upgrades with enhanced tutorial, refined menu interface, etc. For players transitioning from the Web2 version of the game, the new rewards system brings faster progression, improved quests, and special welcome gifts.
Shiba Eternity Release Schedule
On Wednesday, August 21, Shiba Inu granted initial access to Shiba Eternity’s close beta to those who staked LEASH tokens. Participants can link their smart wallets through ShibaSwap to engage with the game during this early access phase. This is crucial for gathering user feedback and ensuring stability before the broader release.
Starting September 5, access will be extended to include holders of specific NFTs within the Shiba Inu ecosystem, including The Shiboshis and The Shiba Eternity Lore collections.
“Beware of scams! Only connect your wallet through official platforms. Never click on links from unknown sources on X or elsewhere. Always manually enter the official website address and double-check before connecting your wallet,” Shiba Inu marketing head Lucies also issued a security warning stated.
