Shibarium was scheduled for launch in 2022 but encountered delays. Fortunately, Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of Shiba Inu and part of the team behind its various developments and projects, has brought good news via a recent blog post: The public beta of Shibarium is now live.
The emergence of Shiba Inu as one of the most prominent meme coins has been due to its numerous projects, such as the Shiba Eternity game and the SHIB metaverse, making it stand out from other cryptocurrency offerings. With Shibarium now available for public use, the SHIB community is expected to benefit greatly.
Shiba Inu releases Shibarum public beta
Kusama is offering a revolutionary solution to the outdated systems of control that have been detrimental to the Shiba Inu community in the form of Shibarium. However, this decentralized L2 network is undergoing early beta testing, otherwise known as PUPPYNET. During this period, users can create dApps, integrate with real-life businesses, and use the network to power their projects. Community members can visit the official website to access this early beta test.
Before launching its beta version, Kusama outlined some critical considerations. Furthermore, he emphasized that SHIB burns will mainly be driven by activity on the PUPPYNET network and urged users to do their own research (DYOR). Additionally, he clarified that all tokens on PUPPYNET are virtual and not actual assets. It is essential to know that despite the announcement, Shiba Inu’s price has only increased by 0.94% at $0.00001026—at press time.
