Back On Top: This Major Crypto Exchange Just Listed XRP

The XRP community has something to cheer about as one of the oldest and most prominent crypto storage platforms recently added support for the token. This continues a wave of acceptance for XRP following Judge Analisa Torres’ ruling

Blockchain.com Lists XRP

In a post on their X (formerly Twitter) platform, Blockchain.com announced that XRP is now live on their platform as users can now store the crypto token in their Blockchain.com wallets. This is undoubtedly a welcome development even as XRP’s popularity continues to increase following the regulatory clarity it gained earlier this year.

Before now, many exchanges had distanced themselves from the crypto token because of Ripple’s long-running legal battle with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The SEC had labeled the token a “Security,” and these exchanges were trying to avoid being caught in the crossfire between Ripple and the Commission.

However, XRP has experienced a significant turn of events this year since the court ruled that the crypto token wasn’t a security in itself. Since then, major exchanges have gone on to list or relist the token. Some of these exchanges include the foremost ones like Coinbase, Kraken, Bitstamp, and Gemini, who immediately made this decision after Judge Torres’ ruling.

Some will no doubt be surprised at the fact that Blockchain.com just made this move, considering that the ruling came back in July. Irrespective of whatever their reason for the delay was, this recent move could be a testament to the fact that there is a growing demand for the token, especially considering its “unique” offering.

Some analysts project that the token’s unique position as the only token with regulatory clarity will make it stand out in the next bull run. Meanwhile, XRP’s adoption is expected to increase once the legal battle between Ripple and the SEC concludes.

Army Is The Real Deal

Galaxy Digital CEO Mike Novogratz recently admitted that he was wrong about the altcoin following his earlier reservations about the crypto token. As part of his admission, he stated that the XRP Army is the real deal. One cannot deny the role that the community has played in getting Ripple and XRP through the difficult times.

Pro-XRP lawyer John Deaton also recently gave an insight into how far the altcoin’s holders went for the crypto token in Ripple’s legal battle against the SEC. He noted that they had submitted four thousand affidavits as part of the amici curiae brief, which he had filed with the court. These affidavits, which came from holders, are said to have been cited by Judge Torres in her ruling
